This is not just a toast—it's a glow-up on a plate. Creamy homemade hummus, buttery ripe avocado, and our Skin Glow Micro Blend come together on a slice of sourdough to create a vibrant, nutrient-dense snack or light meal. It's grounding, fresh, and totally skin-loving.
Ingredients (serves 1):
- 1 thick slice of organic sourdough (preferably sprouted if available, you can buy sprouted bread at Odin or gluten-free home-baked by Happy Belly Eindhoven)
- ½ ripe avocado, sliced or mashed
- 2 tbsp homemade hummus (see below)
- A generous handful of Skin Glow Micro Blend (think: indian cress, red cabbage, parsley & broccoli)
- A squeeze of fresh lemon juice
- Optional toppings: hemp seeds, pink salt, cracked black pepper, or edible flowers
Hummus (makes a small jar):
- 1 cup cooked chickpeas (or sprouted if preferred)
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1 tbsp tahini
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- A pinch of celtic sea salt
- 2 tbsp olive oil cold pressed
- 2–4 tbsp filtered water (as needed for creaminess)
Blend until smooth and creamy. Store extra in a glass jar in the fridge for up to 4 days.
Assembly:
- Toast your sourdough slice to golden perfection.
- Spread a thick layer of the creamy homemade hummus.
- Add sliced or mashed avocado—season lightly with celtic sea salt and a squeeze of lemon.
- Crown with a lush handful of Skin Glow Microgreens.
